About me
My name is Shihab Hasan, and I am an Honours Bachelor of Science Computer Science Co-op student at York University, with an expected graduation date of April 2028. I am interested in software development, artificial intelligence, automation, backend systems, and information systems. I enjoy building practical technology solutions that solve real problems and make work clearer, faster, and more useful.
I chose Computer Science because I like understanding how systems work and how software can be used to improve everyday tasks. I am especially interested in the connection between technical problem-solving and real-world impact. Whether I am building a backend API, automating a process, creating a full-stack application, or exploring AI tools, I want my work to be reliable, understandable, and helpful.
My professional goal is to become a software or AI-focused technology professional who can contribute to meaningful projects in a team environment. I want to continue developing my technical skills while also improving my communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities. I believe that strong technical work is not only about writing code; it is also about understanding the problem, communicating clearly, learning from feedback, and building solutions that people can actually use.
